Warehouse Associate

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for assembling client booths to be used at trade shows. This job will require painting, preparing items for shipping, building pallets, loading trucks, as well as re-assembling and breaking down booths at trade show venues.

Reports to: Warehouse Manager

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Pick/pack booths and rental items
  • Assemble client’s booths and ensure that design is completed
  • Build pallets and crate booth parts for shipping, including furnishings, racks, etc.
  • Assist in loading truck for transportation of booths
  • Re-assemble booths at venue; place interior furnishings, racks, etc. according to design
  • Break down booths when show is complete; re-crate parts and load truck for shipping back to warehouse
  • Inventory items at company warehouse for future use
  • Receive deliveries, checking for and ensuring that all correct materials are received

Job Requirements:

  • At least 3 years carpentry, woodworking, or painting experience preferred
  • Strong detail orientation and thoroughness, as well as a sense of aesthetics to produce the best product
  • Self-initiative to produce a properly executed product
  • Experience using hand tools such as crowbars, drills, hammers, screwdrivers, and circular saws
  • Ability to sand/paint/decorate booth walls & floors according to approved design
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Able to lift 50-100 lbs. in conjunction with another employee
  • Experience working with 3 wheeled forklifts preferred
  • Spanish speaking skills helpful but not required
